MONDAY

2Co 11:1I wish that you would bear with me in a little foolishness; but indeed you do bear with me.

2Co 11:2For I am jealous over you with a jealousy of God; for I betrothed you to one husband to present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

2Co 11:3But I fear lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your thoughts would be corrupted from the simplicity and the purity toward Christ.

2Co 11:4For if indeed he who comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit, which you have not received, or a different gospel, which you have not accepted, you bear well with him.

2Co 11:5But I count myself to be inferior to the super-apostles in nothing.

2Co 11:6But even if I am a layman in speech, yet I am not in knowledge; indeed in every way we have made this manifest in all things to you.

2Co 11:7Or did I commit a sin, abasing myself that you might be exalted, because I announced the gospel of God to you free of charge?

2Co 11:8I robbed other churches, taking wages for the ministry to you.

2Co 11:9And when I was present with you and lacked, I was not a burden to anyone; for the brothers who came from Macedonia filled up my lack, and in everything I kept myself from being burdensome to you, and will keep myself.

2Co 11:10The truthfulness of Christ is in me, that this boasting shall not be stopped as it regards me in the regions of Achaia.

2Co 11:11Why? Because I do not love you? God knows.

2Co 11:12But what I do, I also will do, that I may cut off the opportunity of those desiring an opportunity, that in the thing in which they boast, they may be found even as we.

2Co 11:13For such ones are false apostles, deceitful workers, transfiguring themselves into apostles of Christ.

2Co 11:14And no wonder, for Satan himself transfigures himself into an angel of light.

2Co 11:15Therefore it is no great thing if also his ministers transfigure themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

2Co 11:16Again I say, Let no one think me to be foolish; but if otherwise, accept me even as if I were foolish, that I also may boast a little.

2Co 11:17What I speak, I speak not according to the Lord but as if in foolishness, in this confidence of boasting.

2Co 11:18Since many boast according to the flesh, I also will boast.

2Co 11:19For you bear gladly with fools because you yourselves are wise.

2Co 11:20For you bear it if anyone enslaves you, if anyone devours you, if anyone takes you, if anyone lifts himself up, if anyone beats you in the face.

2Co 11:21By way of self-disparagement I say this, Supposedly we ourselves were weak. But in whatever anyone else is daring, I speak in foolishness, I also am daring.

2Co 11:22Hebrews are they? I also. Israelites are they? I also. The seed of Abraham are they? I also.

2Co 11:23Ministers of Christ are they? I speak as being beside myself, I more so! In labors more abundantly, in imprisonments more abundantly, in stripes excessively, in deaths often.

2Co 11:24Under the hands of the Jews five times I received forty stripes less one;

2Co 11:25Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, a night and a day I have spent in the deep;

2Co 11:26In journeys often, in dangers of rivers, in dangers of robbers, in dangers from my race, in dangers from the Gentiles, in dangers in the city, in dangers in the wilderness, in dangers in the sea, in dangers among false brothers;

2Co 11:27In labor and hardship; in watchings often; in hunger and thirst; in fastings often; in cold and nakedness —

2Co 11:28Apart from the things which have not been mentioned, there is this: the crowd of cares pressing upon me daily, the anxious concern for all the churches.

2Co 11:29Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is stumbled, and I myself do not burn?

2Co 11:30If I must boast, I will boast of the things of my weakness.

2Co 11:31The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, He who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying.

2Co 11:32In Damascus, the governor under Aretas the king guarded the city of the Damascenes in order to seize me;

2Co 11:33And in a basket I was lowered through a window, through the wall, and escaped his hands.

TUESDAY

2Co 12:1To boast is necessary, though indeed not expedient; yet I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.

2Co 12:2I know a man in Christ, fourteen years ago (whether in the body I do not know, or outside the body I do not know; God knows) such a one was caught away to the third heaven.

2Co 12:3And I know such a man (whether in the body or outside the body, I do not know; God knows),

2Co 12:4That he was caught away into Paradise and heard unspeakable words, which it is not allowed for a man to speak.

2Co 12:5On behalf of such a one I will boast, but on behalf of myself I will not boast, except in my weaknesses.

2Co 12:6For if I desire to boast, I will not be foolish, for I will speak the truth; but I refrain lest anyone account of me something above what he sees me to be or hears from me.

2Co 12:7And because of the transcendence of the revelations, in order that I might not be exceedingly lifted up, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan, that he might buffet me, in order that I might not be exceedingly lifted up.

2Co 12:8Concerning this I entreated the Lord three times that it might depart from me.

2Co 12:9And He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather boast in my weaknesses that the power of Christ might tabernacle over me.

2Co 12:10Therefore I am well pleased in weaknesses, in insults, in necessities, in persecutions and distresses, on behalf of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am powerful.

2Co 12:11I have become foolish; you yourselves have compelled me. For it is I who should have been commended by you; for in nothing am I inferior to the super-apostles, even though I am nothing.

2Co 12:12Indeed the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all endurance by signs and wonders and works of power.

2Co 12:13For what is there in which you were treated in a manner inferior to the rest of the churches, except that I myself was not a burden to you? Graciously forgive me this injustice!

2Co 12:14Behold, this third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not be a burden; for I do not seek what is yours but you. For the children ought not to store up for the parents, but the parents for the children.

2Co 12:15But I, I will most gladly spend and be utterly spent on behalf of your souls. If I love you more abundantly, am I loved less?

2Co 12:16But let it be. I did not burden you; but, as some of you say, being crafty, I took you by guile.

2Co 12:17Did I take advantage of you through anyone whom I have sent to you?

2Co 12:18I entreated Titus and sent with him the brother. Titus did not take advantage of you, did he? Did we not walk in the same spirit? In the same steps?

2Co 12:19All this time you have been thinking that we are defending ourselves to you. Before God in Christ we speak; but all things, beloved, are for your building up.

2Co 12:20For I fear that perhaps when I come, I may find you not such as I wish, and I may be found by you not such as you wish; that perhaps there may be strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, slanders, whisperings, demonstrations of being puffed up, tumults;

2Co 12:21That when I come again my God may humble me before you and I may mourn over many who have sinned before and who have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and licentiousness which they have practiced.

WEDNESDAY

2Co 13:1This third time I am coming to you; at the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

2Co 13:2I have previously said and I say beforehand, when I was present the second time and being absent now, to those who have sinned before and to all the rest, that if I come again, I will not spare,

2Co 13:3Since you seek a proof of the Christ who is speaking in me, who is not weak unto you but is powerful in you.

2Co 13:4For indeed He was crucified out of weakness, but He lives by the power of God. For indeed we are weak in Him, but we will live together with Him by the power of God directed toward you.

2Co 13:5Test yourselves whether you are in the faith; prove yourselves. Or do you not realize about yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you, unless you are disapproved?

2Co 13:6But I hope that you will know that we are not disapproved.

2Co 13:7Now we pray to God that you do nothing wrong, not that we may appear approved, but that you yourselves may do what is good and we may be as if disapproved.

2Co 13:8For we are not able to do anything against the truth but rather for the truth.

2Co 13:9For we rejoice whenever we are weak and you are powerful; this also we pray for, your perfecting.

2Co 13:10Therefore I write these things while being absent in order that when present I would not have to use severity, according to the authority which the Lord has given me for building up and not for overthrowing.

2Co 13:11Finally, brothers, rejoice, be perfected, be comforted, think the same thing, be at peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

2Co 13:12Greet one another with a holy kiss.

2Co 13:13All the saints greet you.

2Co 13:14The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

THURSDAY

Ga 1:1Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead),

Ga 1:2And all the brothers who are with me, to the churches of Galatia:

Ga 1:3Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,

Ga 1:4Who gave Himself for our sins that He might rescue us out of the present evil age according to the will of our God and Father,

Ga 1:5To whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Ga 1:6I marvel that you are so quickly removing from Him who has called you in the grace of Christ to a different gospel,

Ga 1:7Which is not another gospel, only there are some who trouble you and desire to pervert the gospel of Christ.

Ga 1:8But if even we or an angel out of heaven should announce to you a gospel beyond that which we have announced to you, let him be accursed.

Ga 1:9As we have said before, now also I say again, If anyone announces to you a gospel beyond that which you have received, let him be accursed.

Ga 1:10For am I now trying to win the assent of men or of God? Or am I seeking to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a slave of Christ.

Ga 1:11For I make known to you, brothers, concerning the gospel announced by me, that it is not according to man.

Ga 1:12For neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation by Jesus Christ.

Ga 1:13For you have heard of my manner of life formerly in Judaism, that I persecuted the church of God excessively and ravaged it.

Ga 1:14And I advanced in Judaism beyond many contemporaries in my race, being more abundantly a zealot for the traditions of my fathers.

Ga 1:15But when it pleased God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace,

Ga 1:16To reveal His Son in me that I might announce Him as the gospel among the Gentiles, immediately I did not confer with flesh and blood,

Ga 1:17Neither did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away to Arabia and again returned to Damascus.

Ga 1:18Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas, and I remained with him fifteen days.

Ga 1:19But I saw none of the other apostles except James, the brother of the Lord.

Ga 1:20Now concerning the things which I am writing to you, behold, before God, I am not lying.

Ga 1:21Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia.

Ga 1:22Yet I was still unknown by face to the churches of Judea, which are in Christ.

Ga 1:23But they only heard this: He who was formerly persecuting us is now announcing as the gospel the faith which formerly he ravaged.

Ga 1:24And they glorified God because of me.

FRIDAY

Ga 2:1Then after a period of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus with me also.

Ga 2:2And I went up according to revelation, and I laid before them the gospel which I proclaim among the Gentiles, but privately to those who were of repute, lest perhaps I should be running, or had run, in vain.

Ga 2:3But not even Titus, who was with me, though he is a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised;

Ga 2:4And this, because of the false brothers, brought in secretly, who stole in to spy out our freedom which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into slavery.

Ga 2:5To them we yielded with the subjection demanded not even for an hour, that the truth of the gospel might remain with you.

Ga 2:6But from those who were reputed to be something — whatever they were makes no difference to me; God does not accept man’s person; for to me those who were of repute added nothing.

Ga 2:7But on the contrary, seeing that I had been entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcision, even as Peter with the gospel to the circumcision,

Ga 2:8(For He who operated in Peter for the apostleship to the circumcision operated also in me for the Gentiles),

Ga 2:9And perceiving the grace given to me, James and Cephas and John, who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and to Barnabas the right hand of fellowship that we should go to the Gentiles, and they, to the circumcision.

Ga 2:10Only they requested that we remember the poor, which very thing I was also eager to do.

Ga 2:11But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face because he stood condemned.

Ga 2:12For before some came from James, he continually ate with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to shrink back and separate himself, fearing those of the circumcision.

Ga 2:13And the rest of the Jews also joined him in this hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was carried away in their hypocrisy.

Ga 2:14But when I saw that they were not walking in a straightforward way in relation to the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas before them all, If you, being a Jew, live like the Gentiles and not like the Jews, how is it that you compel the Gentiles to live like the Jews?

Ga 2:15We are Jews by nature and not sinners from among the Gentiles;

Ga 2:16And knowing that a man is not justified out of works of law, but through faith in Jesus Christ, we also have believed into Christ Jesus that we might be justified out of faith in Christ and not out of the works of law, because out of the works of law no flesh will be justified.

Ga 2:17But if, while seeking to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also have been found sinners, is then Christ a minister of sin? Absolutely not!

Ga 2:18For if I build again the things which I have destroyed, I prove myself to be a transgressor.

Ga 2:19For I through law have died to law that I might live to God.

Ga 2:20I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Ga 2:21I do not nullify the grace of God; for if righteousness is through law, then Christ has died for nothing.
